To advance the field of dish-braincomputer interface, the "2024 International Conference of Brain-On-A-Chip" was held on April 19 to 21, 2024 in Tianjin, China.

As an important emerging branch in the field of brain-computer interface, brain-on-a-chip (BoC) aims to realize information interaction and intelligent control betweenexternal machine and cultured "brain", which iscoupledwith electrode chip, throughencoding and decodingtechnology. BoC represents a convergence of diverse fields such as neuroscience, microelectronics, and signal processing, which make them a leading-edge technology , offering significant promise for investigating human brain and intelligence. The conference revolves around BoC and related fields, including intelligent biological eyes, brain inspired computing, and medical rehabilitation. BoC focuses on frontier biological and information technologies such as organoid construction, neural electrode development, and intelligent unmanned control. The conference offers diverse modules including keynote speeches, invited lectures, oral presentations, abstracts, posters and awards. The organizing committee sincerely invites global scientists and academic peers from universities, research institutes, and enterprises to attend in this academic grand event.

Associate Professor Kai Xiao was invited to give an academic presentation titled "Neuromimetic ion information device". In the report, Associate Professor Kai Xiao shared the latest research results of the research group and provided a prospect for the field of brain computer interfaces in combination with the direction of neurobiomimetic ions.
